The series SiamLab Two Roll Mills are characterized by a very high reproducibility and are designed for more challenging laboratory tests.
Used for mixing, plasticizing, kneading or pulling of plastics and rubbers, the SiamLab testing roll mills equipped with a central nip gap or two handle nip gap adjustment.

• Exact. Perfect for more challenging laboratory tests.
• Traceable. Very good reproducibility.
• Flexible. Usable as stand-alone unit or as downstream equipment.

• Rolls. Made of heat-treated steel, hardened, grounded, hard-chrome plated and polished.
• Gap adjustment. The gap adjustment is effected via a a central nip gap or two handle nip gap adjustment with coupling shaft.
• Sealing jaws. For limiting the working width.
• Drive. Consists of one or two three-phase AC motors with toothed wheel reduction gear. By the gears, the drive is effected to the roll pins via multiple chains. The speed resp. friction of the rolls is adjusted
• Rolls heating. Via oil, separate temperature display for each roll.
• Rolls cooling. Via water, separate temperature display and control solenoid valve for rolls cooling.
• Gear ratio. Standard gear ratio 1:1.25, Option gear ratio selectable between 1:1 and 1:1.25.
• Option speed variable. Adjustable 0-50 rpm (front and rear).
• Option hydraulic quick opening. This safety device allows an opening stroke of 50 mm. The quick opening works totally independently from gap adjustment and is activated by actuating at the safety grid, the emergency stop button or knee cover emergency-off plate.
• Option oil temperature control unit. For SRM-O series, max. temperature up to 200˚C.
• Option water chiller. For SRM-W series, used for cooling the mixing rolls of rubber application.

• The roll gap is protected by two safety cage. If the cages are moving, the rolls will be stopped, however, they won’t be opened.
• Above the rolls, there is handle bar. For filling material into the gap, If pushed or pulled out, the emergency stop will be activated.
• When activating two knee cover emergency off switch plates as well as the emergency stop button in the control panel, the rolls will immediately be stopped.
