(1)     For asymmetric rotors half the maximum weight capacity is allowed on each pedestal.

(2)     Maximum diameter can be increased using the other bed. A further increase can be made using a pit in the floor between the two beds. The drive system can be positioned anywhere on the bed.

(4)     The maximum sensitivity per planes is defined as the instrument's possibility to read (acording DIN 1319) for maximum weight symmetric rotors (rotor dimensions acording ISO 2953). The minimum achievable residual unbalance depends on the condition of the journals, on the geometric and the elastic properties of the rotor, on the type and condition of the cardan drive shaft or drive belt, on the rotor weight and on the balancing speed.
